DURING SEASON

Hours 9 to 4 daily. Lessons and Rentals available. Programs and clinics are taking sign- ups. Information on the Ski School page. Check it out. Sign-up for fun and improvement.

 

SEASON CLOSING POLICY

The projected closing date of Bohart Ranch Cross Country Ski Center will be the last Sunday of March each year. Post season grooming will continue for Season Pass Holders depending on weather and conditions.

DECEMBER

2nd-Wednesday: Projected Opening

Season Hours 9:00 - 4:00 daily

5th & 6th - Saturday & Sunday: Super Tour

Men's, Women's Open and Junior Divisions. SAT Sprints at Lindley, weather permitting, alternative venue Bohart. Qualifying races at 10:00 AM and elimination heats at 12:00 PM. SUN 6K, 10K, and 15K classic races at Bohart beginning at 9:00 AM. www.bsfnordic.com for more information.

12th - Saturday: Bobcat Christmas Pole

Kick off your ski season with this fundraiser event for the MSU Nordic Ski Team. 1K & 3K classic or skate races begin at 10:30 AM. 5K and 10K skate races begin at 11:00 AM. Race day registration 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Camaraderie, fun and prizes! Call 994-4118 for information.

JANUARY

10th-Sunday: Subaru of Bozeman Nordic Fest

Bohart Ranch offers the community an opportunity to give Nordic skiing a try! FREE lessons, with rentals and trail privileges at 10:00 AM or 1:30 PM. Reservations for lessons are required beginning January 4th. Skate and Classic, kids and adults, beginners and intermediates welcomed. Call Bohart Ranch, 586-9070. Local shops will be on site offering FREE demos. FREE snowshoe demos will be available. Limited registration fills
quickly!

15th 16th & 17th - Friday, Saturday & Sunday: MSU NCAA Regional & JO Qualifier Races
Come watch and cheer on the best in the West! Collegiate teams and junior skiers compete for 3 days. Friday mass start 10K and 15K classic. Saturday interval start 5K and 10K skate races. Sunday classic sprint races. www.bsfnordic.com for information.

23rd-Saturday:Montana Senior Olympics

Senior Olympics welcomes skiers of all abilities 45 and older to participate. Classic 5k and 10 k races begin at 10:00 AM. Freestyle 5k and 10k races begin at 1:00 PM. For information and registration call 586-5543.

FEBRUARY

7th-Sunday: Big Sky Wind Drinkers Ski Day & BBQ
The public is invited to join members of BSWD at 11:00 AM at the Ski Shop for a recreational ski of Bohart trails. Meet at the Trail Shelter in the Meadow at 1:00 PM for BBQ compliments of the Wind Drinkers. Bohart Season Pass or Trail Fee required. RSVP by Feb.3rd to 582-4994.


13th-Saturday: Valentines Scramble

Join in the camaraderie of this informal and fun 'race' for all ages and abilities. You don't have to be a ski racer to enter. Costumes encouraged! Skiers choose their race distance and classic or skate technique. Event day registration at 9:00 AM. Scramble begins at 10:00 AM. Participation fee of $5 donated to Bohart Ski Education Scholarship Fund.

14th-Sunday: Bohart Bonus Day

Ski Bohart at reduced prices! $8 Adult Trail Fee, $5 Child Trail Fee (7-12, 6 and under free). $8 classic rental for adults, $5 classic rental for children. Put your name in a drawing for a FREE 2011 Season Pass. Warm up at the Trail Shelter. Bring a picnic lunch for fun day with family and friends!

20th-Saturday:Sacagawea Ski Classic

24K, 12K and 5K and 1K(children's) Races and 12K Casual Tour event through the beautiful Bridger Mountains. Races begin at 9:00 AM. Discount for early registration. Race day registration. Applications and detailed information at www.bsfnordic.com. Info, call 585-9235.

27th-Saturday: Make Tracks for Trails

Trails are open for walking, running, mountain biking and horseback riding (BYOH). No fee. Sign in required.

Frisbie Golf Course / $5 Fee / Sign in required.
